SHORT BIO
PROMOTION
National Chiquita Day
STRATEGY
To celebrate National Banana Day, April 15, 2026, Chiquita transformed the occasion into National Chiquita Day, turning a traditional food holiday into a branded cultural celebration. Building on its “Pop by Nature” platform, the campaign centered around an AI-powered hero video featuring Miss Chiquita that reimagined Times Square as a vibrant Chiquita takeover.
To drive participation, the brand introduced a tropical-inspired jingle and social dance challenge, inviting consumers to learn, share and remix a signature Chiquita dance move across social media. Creator collaborations helped amplify the campaign and encourage engagement, while paid media across TikTok and Meta extended reach and interaction. The promotion was further supported by an Instagram giveaway.
RESULTS
The campaign generated 12 earned media placements totaling more than 524,000 earned impressions, supported by 1,858 paid editorial placements through press release syndication, a MAT feature and ANR/audio distribution, resulting in more than 221 million impressions.
