Al Peake and Sons, Daughter Too, Food Service Co.
Sales and Office Manager
Toledo, OH

Emily Stuller helps connect the sales team at Al Peake and Sons Food Service and customers with the products and information they need.

“Whether we help a restaurant find the right product for a menu item or give a sales rep information they can put to use right away, it’s rewarding to be part of that connection,” she says. “I also enjoy that there’s always something new to learn.”

Stuller says her typical day can include reviewing product availability and market updates, creating sales flyers, and supporting the sales reps. “My advice to someone new to the industry is to stay curious, ask questions and build relationships. The foodservice industry changes quickly, and you learn a lot by listening to growers, suppliers, coworkers and customers.”

She says foodservice customers are looking for fresh ingredients that add flavor and color to their menus while helping them manage costs and kitchen labor. “Seasonal produce and convenient, ready-to-use options are especially useful in those conversations.”

She also says communication matters. “I focus on sharing timely market information and helping our sales team offer customers practical options when conditions shift.”

A graduate of the University of Toledo with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Stuller enjoys game nights with friends and family, hanging out in her pool, going to Michigan football games, and hands-on projects around the house.

She says she appreciates how Produce Business brings together perspectives from across the industry. “Its coverage of distribution, foodservice, and market trends helps me see the bigger picture and think about how those changes affect our customers and sales team.”
