Muzzi Family Farms Expands Salad Farm

After nearly 20 years of producing and packing leafy greens and fresh-cut vegetables through its ownership in The Salad Farm, Muzzi Family Farms, Moss Landing, CA, is bringing those products directly to market under its own brands.

The expansion gives foodservice and retail customers a broader selection of organic and conventional products.

New products, all domestically sourced, include conventional romaine hearts, iceberg lettuce, romaine lettuce, green leaf lettuce, and bunched spinach, as well as processed, value-added items, such as clamshell packs, chopped romaine, shredded lettuce, coleslaw and broccoli florets.

These organic and conventional products are being sold under three Muzzi brands: Muzzi Family Farms, Dominic’s and Lisa Mia.
