On March 24, 2009, Publix Super Market executives, Maria Brous, director of media and community relations, and Michael Hewitt, manager of environmental services, visited the PRODUCE BUSINESS offices in Boca Raton for an interview with publisher/editorial director Ken Whitacre and special projects editor Mira Slott. Publix was the recipient of this year’s Retail Sustainability Award, presented by the magazine.
